The Clitheroe Auction Mart Business Hub is as part of its plan for 2025 running a free session for its customers around Cybercrime, a real & present threat to farmers.  Protect Officer, Dave Suffield from Lancashire Constabulary’s Cyber Crime Unit and PC Micky Woods from the Clitheroe Rural Task Force will be at the hub. Their sole purpose is to help people, and businesses across the farming community to thrive, by sharing simple tips on improving cyber security as well as some more practical ‘physical’ safety and security advice.

This webinar will share practical steps to minimise cybercrime risks and explain how to report incidents to Action Fraud, the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime.

The Cyber Crime Unit offers free, impartial advice and can connect you to agencies within the Northwest and UK’s Protect Network. They’ll provide workshops and sessions to help you better understand the evolving cyber world and its impact on farming.

The session starts at 1900hrs on 27th March and will run till 2000hrs with a chance then to socialise and ask questions till 2030’ The Action mart is located on Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, BB71QD.
